I have learned many good things from the Faith & Victory movement and the Restoration movement and for me the non-conformist standard that I was taught and kept is a conviction for me. I can say from the bottom of my heart I love the R's outward standard and non-conformity to the fads and fashions of the world. It is very well thought out, is build on Biblical principles and to me is not bondage at all. I think the only things I am doing different is playing the odd game of chess online, not wearing the mandated brothers black and white meeting clothes, and the new mandated vest all the time (which I never did). Other than that I can't think of anything else I have changed. I am still the same person I was one month ago when I sat in their services and I am no more disappointed with their conduct that I was a month ago (read my <a href="http://morechristlike.com/16-objections-to-cogr-practices-and-doctrines/#objections" rel="nofollow">16 Objections</a> and you will understand what I mean). While it hurts to lose 20 years of Christian friends the Lord has only used this to deepen me down and to get closer to him. Since I have been put out I have a greater desire for heaven, I have a closer walk with the one that will never leave me or forsake me, and I have much greater compassion for all the precious souls that have been hurt in church discipline matters.
