I am sooo glad I found this site. I have been holding alot of deep anger and hurt that my fiancee has caused over the past 8 years and it has effected our relationship GREATLY!!! I have now learned to pass my hurt to God and that he will handle it and I am sure he can do far more damage than I ever could. LOL> Since this epiphany, I feel free and I can finally breathe and move on in my relationship with my fiancee. Anytime I find myself thinking of past offenses and hurt, I simply say to myself, ” Thank you God for this reminder of how important forgiveness is.” And I feel free! Life is to short to carry baggage of hurt. You are only hurting yourself. Forgive and move on. Doesn’t mean that you will forget. You are just giving yourself permission to take that baggage off your back and put it down!!!!

I am in the process of healing from a broken relationship and I already made the decision to forgive but this morning when I was on my way to work memories came into my mind like a flood and so much anger welled up inside me that i found myself asking God for payback. I wanted to see the one I feel wronged by suffer. Once I came to myself, I repented and thanked God for His grace towards me and the strength He is giving me everyday to forgive others. In my search on words of forgiveness, I found your Web site. Thank you and continue to let God use you.

Yes we need to have the grace to forgive even cheating spouses.

I would however make sure they provide you with full tests before there is any martial relations.

Thank you soo much. I was sad because I got mad at my husband and couldnt sleep since 3am. But after reading this opened my eyes and made me feel relaxed. Does this also refer to forgiveness to cheating husbands?
