I would hold that the Bible teaches the church has replaced Israel as God’s people. Christians are inwardly Jews, called the house of Israel, and are referred to as Jerusalem.
A Christian is a Jew inwardly:
Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
The church is the house of Israel:
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
Before we were saved we were aliens from Israel:
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Now only saved Israelis are Israel:
Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Salvation brings us to Zion or the heavenly Jerusalem:
Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
The bride of Christ is the heavenly Jerusalem:
Rev 21:9,10 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
Our mother – the church – is Jerusalem:
Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Unconverted Jews are anti-Christ:
1 Joh 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1. The above scriptures are pretty clear and there are more OT scriptures that bare this truth out.
2. God is not a polygamist who has two wives.
3. Those that are of the spirit of antichrist are not God’s people.
I feel like the 3 above points are unanswerable.

Hi Adrian,
I also stand with the Lord Jesus and the apostles and love and pray for Israel and the Jews.
I really don’t think this discussion is going anywhere so I am going to delete it. I wish you the best in this life and the next. If you are interested in having a meaningful discussion concerning the scriptures that is free from games let me know and I would be more than willing to discuss this topic with you.

Hi Adrian,
It maybe that I am wrong in my doctrine but you are wrong in your attitude. You clearly need to learn how to be less judgmental toward those that disagree with you. I reaffirm that I love Israel and the Jews even though I hold that one can only be the people of God if they put their faith in Jesus the Christ.
All Jews that have not put their faith in Jesus the Christ are antichrist, just like all Gentiles that have not put their faith in Jesus.
2Jn 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Bob,
I appreciate your use of the Scriptures. I have read some “Messianic” literature that does some strange things with relationships between Jew and Christian. My Savior was a Jew while on Earth. But much of modern Judaism/Yiddishkeit developed not only after Jesus’ time on Earth, but much more recently than that. Attempts to melt the two together won’t work (except they repent and believe in the Messiah).
